It seems others are in a state of flux now too. Well good luck all. Maybe I will be able to get back to semi-regular posting now.

I'm Free!!!!!
I have finally finished working full-time at the client site I have been at for the past 16 months. It has been a strange experience without instant connection to the Internet etc. It has been fun though and I have done some good work. I have also started playing Bridge again (though it has been a long time and I am somewhat rusty).

Almost Free
Just a snatched post when I should be doing something else. By the end of next week I will be free of the assignment I have been on for the past 15 months. It really is time for a change. Mind you, they are keeping their claws in sending me hither and thither until I break out.

A New Post
I am being nagged because I have not posted in so long. Hence this post. I will write more later, but suffice it to say, I am alive (just) and about to start working in Germany.

HOTT BAP coming soon
Next weekend is a battle-fest, Saturday 16 May is "Hordes of The Things" at Beer and Pretzels at Burton on Trent and Sunday 17 May is the Midlands Open BDA competition. More details of what I intend fielding to follow.
Legion 2009 at the Bath Wargames Club went off well, and I enjoyed it, despite having less time to organise it than last year. There are some photos on the club website.

Basing Romans
Well after a lay off I have based a Polybian Roman DBA Army for the Bath Wargames Club Legion Competition in late April. For once I am ahead of the curve. It won't last. I probably should post some pics.

Some interesting work at last
I am researching email thread re-construction. Obviously there are the In-Reply-To and References field from RFC2822, see ftp://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/rfc5322.txt. Yes I know that RFC5322 supercedes 2822, but it makes no changes to the bits I am interested in, and it is still draft!
